The Slammer | Since 1909
The former Mercer County Jail was built in 1909 and served as both a jail and as a home for the Sheriff and his family. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.
After the county jail had moved to a new location, this building was converted into a bed & breakfast and restaurant. The Slammer will reopen in the summer of 2022 to continue as one of the most unique places to stay in Mercer County.
