The Depot | Since 1869

The Aledo Depot was built in 1869 as part of the C.B. & Q Railroad (Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy) the same year that the transcontinental railroad was joined with the golden spike at Promontory Point, Utah. The Depot served as a freight house and offered a passenger service. The passenger train, known as the Dolly, continued its rounds until 1952.

The Depot has remained a landmark in the heart of downtown Aledo. Packed with history and character, it is available to reserve for events and can comfortably fit up to 84 guests. Features include kitchen and restrooms, large outdoor patio, and a game room equipped with a ping-pong table and dartboard.
